My name is Nick Coray, I’m a passionate industrial designer with an interest in 3D printing, renewable energy, future technologies, and space exploration. I’m committed to pushing the boundaries of the design process and staying abreast of the latest technological advancements and processes to create cutting-edge products.
I’m currently starting a new adventure in Japan where I hope to expand my horizons and deepen my understanding of different cultures.
01 Otaku / Geek
As a designer, I draw inspiration from science fiction and fantasy works, such as Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Marvel & DC movies and comics, as well as a vast collection of anime and manga
02 Electronics
My interest in electronics involves building, upgrading, repairing, and basic coding with computers. I’m also learning circuit design to assist with my 3D printing venture
03 Bee Keeping
As a hobby, I have been beekeeping for over a decade. Our small apiary, consisting of around 5 hives, providing honey and wax that are used to make furniture polish. This experience has instilled in me an appreciation of designs inspired by nature.
04 Education
I’m a graduate of Northumbria University. I pursued a degree in Design for Industry (DFI) and graduated with Second Class Honors (upper class), I’m dedicated to continuously developing my skills and refining my abilities to produce exceptional designs.
